Snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, snow, SNOW!!!!!!!

School cancelled today and March 1st (technically yesterday)... yeah! It was called off at 12:30..i had a test at 12:35 so i was really excited. The snow is piling up outside!

One of my crazy RIOT girls was wearing capris today... I was still bundled up in a turtleneck, two layers and a jacket. Yes, it is 45 degrees out. :) But it is supopsed to snow at the end of the week.

I've been exhausted lately. I think it's the change in weather coupled with a myriad of activities and a flurry of tests. Last night I got to be at the nursing home again. I played Bingo with two of the four guys I played with last week and it was amazing. The conversations, the laughter, the friendliness that goes around is amazing. I am so glad i get to interact with a variety of ages here as a student. Otherwise, I think i'd be missing out. I love being involved in activities involving babies and children under five, mentoring people my age, tutoring adults (well, that starts soon) and being able to hang out with those elders who have so much knowldege and experience. What a blessing to be able to have the opportunity to be involved.

Well, it's finally warmed up... it's 22 degrees today! Above zero! It feels like 50 though...cuz it's about a 30-40 degree increase over last week. Well, now that my weather update is done :)... things are going well here.

Had a wonderful RIOT leader retreat this past weekend. Team bonding, goal setting and just fun chilling. Went tubing yesterday...for almost the first time. The first real time. And had so much fun although i didn't have snow pants so i wore jeans and so my legs were really red after 2 hours and it took me about 6 hours to finally get warm. But it was defenatly worth it! :)

It's strange to think that only less than 2 weeks have gone by. I love my two new roommates, my new majour, and everyhting going on. But it seems like it's been forever, longer than two weeks. :)
